Terms of Service

Last updated October 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [Your legal business name] ("OpenSheet", "we", "us") and apply when you use the OpenSheet website at opensheet.live and the OpenSheet app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.

1. What OpenSheet does

OpenSheet helps you find businesses by industry and location, collect the contact details they publish (business name, phone number, address, website, rating and emails listed on their websites), save them to sheets, check whether the emails and phone numbers look reachable, and export them. Results come from third-party sources such as Google, OpenStreetMap, online business directories and the businesses' own websites.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
  • Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • One person per account. Don't share accounts or create extra accounts to get more free usage.
  • Tell us right away at [support@opensheet.live] if you think someone else is using your account.

3. Plans, limits and credits

  • Free includes 1 search and verification of up to 50 leads each calendar month (UTC). The free search shows the first 10 businesses in full and a preview of the rest; searches paid with search credits show everything. Autopilot isn't included.
  • Pro ($49 USD/month) includes 500 searches a month and Autopilot city lists of up to 500 cities. Business ($149 USD/month) includes 3,000 searches a month and lists of up to 3,000 cities.
  • A normal search, including each city an Autopilot run searches, uses one search. A deep search uses 10 searches when it covers a big city (one in a smaller town), including on Autopilot runs where you turn deep search on. "Find again" uses 25 searches. On the Free plan, deep search and Find again need search credits. Unused monthly searches don't roll over.
  • Search credits (from $15 USD for 100) are one-time purchases. They're used only after your plan's monthly searches run out, they don't expire while your account is open, and they have no cash value.
  • Each plan can verify a set number of leads per calendar month (Pro 25,000, Business 100,000). Unused verifications don't roll over. Verification is also subject to fair-use safeguards, including how many sheets can be checked at once and how often you can start a check. We may change limits to protect the Service and will show current limits in the app. Each account can have up to 200 sheets, and we may limit how many searches the Service runs in total each day.

4. Billing, renewals and refunds

  • Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Monthly plans renew every month.
  • Yearly plans cost 12 times the monthly price (Pro $588 USD, Business $1,788 USD), paid up front. Your first yearly term lasts 14 months. After that, the plan renews automatically every 12 months at the yearly price shown at checkout, until you cancel. Your next renewal date is always shown in Manage billing.
  • You can cancel anytime from Manage billing in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for; we don't give partial refunds for unused time.
  • Search credits are non-refundable once any of them have been used. If a purchase was a mistake and none of its credits have been used, contact us within 14 days at [support@opensheet.live].
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider; we don't store your full card number. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers. Taxes may be added where required.
  • If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it's resolved.

5. Acceptable use

You're responsible for how you use the contact details you collect. You agree to:

  • Follow every law that applies to your outreach, including anti-spam and marketing laws such as CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), the TCPA and Do-Not-Call rules (US), the CRTC Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules (Canada), Europe's ePrivacy rules as each country applies them (such as PECR in the UK; some countries require consent even for business emails and calls), Australia's Spam Act and Do Not Call Register, New Zealand's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act, the telemarketing rules in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and privacy laws such as PIPEDA, the GDPR and UK GDPR, Australia's and New Zealand's Privacy Acts, the UAE's and Saudi Arabia's data protection laws, and state privacy laws where they apply.
  • Only contact businesses for legitimate business-to-business purposes, identify yourself honestly, honour opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly, and get consent where the law requires it.
  • Not use the Service to send spam, phishing, harassment, threats, scams or illegal content.
  • Not collect or use data about individuals for consumer marketing, credit, employment, housing or insurance decisions, or any purpose regulated by consumer reporting laws.
  • Not resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service itself, or bulk-share raw data from it as a competing database.
  • Not try to get around plan limits, access other users' data, overload or disrupt the Service, reverse-engineer it, or use bots or scripts against it except through features we provide.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund where the breach is serious.

6. Data from third parties

Business information comes from public and third-party sources we don't control. It can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Verification results ("Deliverable", "Valid" and so on) are automated estimates, not guarantees that a message will be delivered or answered. Use of some sources is also subject to their own terms. We may change, add or remove data sources at any time.

7. Your content and data

The sheets, lists and notes you create belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the Service for you. You can export or delete them at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

8. Our Service

OpenSheet, its software, design and branding belong to us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice and refund prepaid unused subscription time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you'll get any particular business results.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You'll defend and compensate us for claims, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your outreach, your use of contact data, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 6, 9, 10, 11 and 13) continue after your account ends.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [the Province of Ontario, Canada], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
